Creeknet XF Symposium #2
June 21 @ 10:00 - 19:00
You are invited to the second of two days public meet ups and workshops to exchange ideas and explore the DIY networks of Deptford Creek. We welcome MAZI partners from around Europe to meet friends and contributors in SE8 and beyond. Creeknet is one of four MAZI pilots, helping people face local challenges together, supporting network development, sharing resources and promoting sustainability.
MAZI is developing a toolkit for building DIY community networks. Join us in the ‘Knowledge Cafe’ at the Stephen Lawrence Centre to review the range of work in progress and play with the tools, exchange ideas and share experiences with its contributors and developers. Enjoy the natural beauty of Brookmill Park and join us there for a picnic and performances. Install the Creeknet guide to the historical, ecological, social and environmental conditions and take the Anchorhold trail along the length of the tidal creek through Brookmill Park and bridges to the creek mouth at the Thames.
